Excursion to Noloben

Last month saw Douglas Sharper announce to a stunned neighbourhood that he was off to Noloben to take down the Bahro that killed Willow “Wheely” Engberg and Rosette “Rose” Taylor. The explorers present at the time rounded on Douglas and the action he was taking which later resulted in him being called to a DRC meeting. It was discovered that he was asked to scout the Age out and not go there to kill.
Douglas likes to, um, well, let’s just say that killing a Bahro is one of those things that definitely falls into the “easier said than done” category. Killing a Bahro is not what’s been asked of Douglas to begin with.

As the DRC return to their busy schedule and Douglas’ heated farewell to explorers as he left for Noloben, the explorer community is left wonder what will happen next, and if Douglas’ pride causes further issues for the D’ni cavern.
Lake Restoration by Explorers and DRC

Last month for the DRC’s release of Er’cana, a former food granary Age which was re-engineered by Guild Master Kadish to light the lake.
The pellets in Er’cana, when cooked correctly, provide a large quantity of nutrients that the algae in the D’ni lake feed on. The DRC earlier placed a “Lake Light Meter” in Ae’gura that will measure the light levels in the lake and show if there has been an improvement or not. The explorer community has been at a rush to bake pellets, trade recipes in order to find the best pellet to feed the lake, hoping that one day the cycle of the lake, that has been depleted since A’gaeris and Veovis’ attack on the empire, will return.
Whilst the majority of the community work to restore the lake to its former glory, there are those in the Cavern who work against such action. These explorers purposely bake harmful pellets some with the goal to keep the cavern dark, other to teach the DRC a lesson of sorts. Such action of course has sparked outrage among explorers with some vowing to keep their failed recipes to themselves as to not give those who would do harm to the lake the means to do it.
